Apricot Nut Bread

2 1/2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
3 1/2 tsps baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 Tbs plus 1 tsp orange peel, grated
3 Tbs oil
1/2 cup milk
3 cups orange juice
1 egg
1 cup nuts, chopped
1 cup dried apricots, chopped fine

Heat oven to 350. Grease and flour 2 loaf pans. Mix all ingredients and beat for 2 1/2 minutes. Pour in pans. Bake 55-65 minutes. Cool before slicing.
