Coconut Frosting

1 6oz can evaporated milk
2/3 cups sugar
1/4 cup Oleo (margarine)
1 slightly beaten egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/3 cup coconut
1/2 cup chopped pecans
salt

Combine first 4 ingredients and a dash of salt. Cook and stir until mixture thickens and bubbles, about 12 minutes. Cool lightly, add remaining ingredients. Cool completely.
